Why we don’t drop our pants on discounts. At Monti’s we stand by our quality and service, and ask a fair price for a worthy experience. Our specials of many years remain enshrined on the menu to offer that experience to as may as possible. But beyond that, I don’t believe in undercutting my brand with promotions-Here is the heart of this

Because of that, eateries won’t be able to keep the deals big for long,
said Linda Lipsky, a Pennsylvania-based restaurant consultant. “It could
result in a slow death type of situation. Their costs haven’t gone down.
That’s what it comes down to — how can you afford to discount if your
costs are going up?”
